Mariners catcher Steve Clevenger fractured the third metacarpal in his right hand after a foul ball hit his exposed throwing hand, the Mariners said Wednesday.Clevenger exited in the top of the third inning after Andrew McCutchens foul ball came directly back and hit Clevengers bare hand.Clevenger immediately crumpled over, cradling the hand, and he was attended to quickly by Seattles athletic training staff.
